Roads in between the buildings have not been prepared with melt and they wait far too long to only plow once, causing our driveway to always be an ice rink and packed with snow, which makes it hard with the road being slopped right by the garages. Someone almost hit our garage because of this. Buildings also seem to be built cheaply, had many problems that they attempted to fix when we moved in, but could only be fixed so much with being done wrong in the first place. Our floors were lifting... because they were not glued down/measured properly (fixed best they could while complaining about it), shower makes loud noises when we are in it due to there being no subfloor beneath it (we were told nothing could be done until it cracks or leaks because they would have to take the whole shower out). Our entryway is 30 degrees colder than our garage even with using EM heat and does not seem to be insulated. We had to clean thick construction dust off of everything upon move in. Paint on bathroom floors, paint on the windows, carpet not tacked down, sink stoppers are not functional. The day our lease started, we went to get keys and had an appointment, but the worker forgot we had one and told us to just come the next day. Once we finally got her to come she was condescending and was trying to get me to sign the document stating the condition of the unit after only a short walkthrough. Some of these things were remedied by Seldin and Juniper Rows, but are still things to be aware of for as much as rent is. Most often we are met with excuses for why things haven not been done. The units have the potential to be great, if only they would have been built to last. We do enjoy the layout of the units, the color scheme, open kitchen/living room, washer/dryer, double garage, and general feel of the unit!
